{"id":13,"date":"2017-03-11T17:35:13","date_gmt":"2017-03-11T17:35:13","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.ec.tuwien.ac.at\/rectour2017\/?page_id=13"},"modified":"2018-08-13T13:27:06","modified_gmt":"2018-08-13T13:27:06","slug":"submission-guidelines","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.ec.tuwien.ac.at\/rectour2018\/submission-guidelines\/","title":{"rendered":"Submission Guidelines"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Submission types are <\/span><b>long research papers<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> reporting on complete research<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">(8 pages plus up to one page references), <\/span><b>short papers<\/b> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">reporting on work in progress (update: 5 pages<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> plus up to one page references<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">), <\/span><b>position papers<\/b> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">reflecting on emerging topics (2-4 pages), <\/span><b>demonstration systems<\/b> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">showcasing novel aspects or providing the opportunity to interact (demo papers: 2 pages) as well as <\/span><b>project ideas<\/b> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">discussing innovative research proposals and late breaking ideas (2-4 pages). Moreover, we specifically invite industry to submit relevant showcases as position or demo papers to the workshop. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">RecTour 2018 submissions should be prepared in PDF format according to the standard double-column <a href=\"https:\/\/www.acm.org\/publications\/proceedings-template\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ACM SIG proceedings format<\/a>. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The peer review process is single-blind, i.e., all submissions should include information identifying the authors and their organizations. All submissions and reviews will be handled electronically through the EasyChair submission site: <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/easychair.org\/conferences\/?conf=rectour2018\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">https:\/\/easychair.org\/conferences\/?conf=rectour2018<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">All contributions must be relevant to the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ec.tuwien.ac.at\/rectour2018\/call-for-papers\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Call for Papers<\/a> of RecTour 2018. Accepted papers will be included in the RecTour 2018 proceedings and published by <\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/ceur-ws.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">CEUR Workshop Proceedings<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. However, at least one author of each accepted contribution must attend the workshop (otherwise this contribution will not appear in the proceedings of the workshop).
