dr. Toni Mastelic

Short CV

He was born and raised in Sinj, Croatia. He did his bachelor and masters studies in Computer Science at the University of Split, Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Naval Architecture (FESB), Croatia, where he received his Bachelor degree in 2009, and Master degree in 2011. During his study he worked as a student assistant at FESB, where he was engaged in several student as well as scientific research projects. Later on, he worked as a research assistant at Vienna University of Technology, where he pursued his PhD. Finally, he received his PhD degree in 2015 at the Institute of Software Technology and Interactive Systems, Electronic Commerce Group, Vienna University of Technology.

Research Interests

My research interest includes the following:

  • Cloud computing
  • Energy consumption in Computer systems
  • Cloud system metrics
  • Security in Cloud systems
  • Service Level Agreement (SLA) management

Projects

Worked on projects:

  • HALEY - Holistic Energy Efficient Approach for the Management of Hybrid Clouds, Research award from TU Vienna, 2011
