Abstract: 
This work shows the subject of business models in the internet and concerns with its variants and combinations which are permanently increasing in the same way as the public interest. The request "Business Model" at goggle.com with the result of 188.000 hits is an evidence. Based upon a definition of an internet business model the introducing part shows the fundamental elements and types. The main part is the analysis. First there had to be found an applicable concept for an investigation of business models to show their range and processes. The next step was to apply this concept within two cases: Amazon.com for B2C- and Omnexus.com for the B2B sector. The final task was to develop a method for building an internet business model depending on the experiences which were made.
