Abstract:
New information technologies have changed the way how business is conducted nowadays. The new technologies force the companies to change their business processes. These changes create a need for a new resource management system.
This master thesis describes a global resource management system for dislocated enterprises which are willing to act together in a virtual enterprise. The resource management system is built on a generally accepted database holding any information needed by an electronic business solution to sell services. The focus is put on business processes dealing with the customers need in electronic commerce processes.
Further topics deal with the way how information flows are handled and by which means changing information flows and business processes can be adopted with emerging means of information technology.
