Objective: 

The lecture introduces the topic of e-commerce and treats it both from a conceptional as well as technical point of view.

Content: 

- Introduction (information society, diffusion, classification)- The Enterprise (IT and organization, competition and strategy, pricing issues)- Personalization (Recommender Systems, advanced topics and challenges)- E-marketing (SEO, affiliate marketing, analytics)- Market and Networks (inter-organizational systems, hierarchies, intermediaries)- Business Models (Business model canvas, digital models)- Ethics (evaluating the ethical aspects of e-Commerce practices)- Blockchain and Crypo-currencies (Bitcoin, Etherium, etc.)- Data Markets (buying and selling data)
